These terms govern your use of TheStartupsHub. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

TheStartupsHub is owned and managed by Dave Groups. References to "we", "us" or "the platform" in these terms mean Dave Groups operating TheStartupsHub.

1. Using the platform

TheStartupsHub connects founders, talent, operators, finance professionals and investors, and points you to resources and events. You may use it only in line with these terms and applicable law. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant us a limited license to host and display it so we can operate the platform and show it to the people you intend to reach. You are responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.

4. Acceptable use

To keep the community safe and useful, you agree not to:

Post unlawful, misleading, harmful or infringing content.
Harass, spam or deceive other users.
Misrepresent your identity, role or affiliation.
Scrape, copy or harvest data except as expressly permitted.
Interfere with or attempt to break the security of the platform.

5. Third-party resources and events

The platform links to third-party resources and events, including listings gathered from event sources. These belong to their owners and organizers. We do not control or guarantee them and listing is not an endorsement. Always confirm details on the official source, and review each third party's own terms.

5a. Third-party names, marks and our product logos

Pages such as the Product Directory and the Venture Hub reference third-party open source projects and products. All product names, brands and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the software being discussed; no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement is implied. Listings for third-party software show a neutral initial tile in our house style, never an invented logo, and an official third-party logo appears only where that owner's brand guidelines permit it. The designed logos beside our own in-house products are original marks created and owned by Dave Groups for those products. If you hold rights in a name or mark and want a reference changed or removed, contact us and we will act promptly.

6. No equity and no professional advice

We do not take equity in your venture for using the platform. Any tools, templates, resources or content are provided for general information only and are not legal, financial, tax or investment advice. Seek a qualified professional for decisions that need one.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes that arise from matches, listings, third parties or decisions you make. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the platform from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. You may stop using the platform at any time, and we may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.
