Journeys from the hub

What using the hub actually looks like

Three journeys that show how the pieces fit together, from first doubt to first traction. As real members opt in, their stories take this page over.

💡

A note on honesty, because trust is our whole product. We are early, and we will not invent testimonials. The journeys below are illustrative, clearly labeled, and built from how the platform genuinely works. Every future story on this page will be a real member, published with their consent, and the labels will change from Illustrative journey to Member story when they do.

Meera builds healthtech from Hyderabad

Illustrative journey
Woman founder | Healthtech | Idea to pilot

Meera is a physiotherapist with an idea for remote recovery tracking and zero idea how to register a company. Her first week in the hub, she books a Starter Boost consultation with a volunteer CA who walks her through incorporation and what not to spend money on yet. The state deep dive points her to WE Hub, Telangana's incubator for women entrepreneurs, and she applies with a one-pager built from the pitch outline template.

Three months later she has a registered company, a prototype tested with two clinics she met through the community, and an application in for state support. Nothing about her journey required paying the hub a rupee, which is the point.

Arjun and Kavya take agritech to their home district

Illustrative journey
Startup for good | Agritech | Side project to state pilot

Arjun, an engineer in Pune, and Kavya, an agronomist in Nashik, want to cut post-harvest losses for onion farmers. The scheme navigator shows them that Maharashtra's Startup Week can turn a winning pitch into a paid government work order, so that becomes the target. They use the glossary to decode every term in the application, the financial model guide to build honest numbers, and a volunteer marketing mentor from the Starter Boost to sharpen the story.

They pitch, place, and pilot with a district agriculture office. Their first customer is the state itself, which is exactly the route the hub's Startup For Good track exists to light up.

Sana and Dev almost split, then align

Illustrative journey
SaaS duo | Cofounder alignment | Handshake to signed agreement

Sana and Dev have been building a scheduling tool on weekends and calling it fifty-fifty without ever discussing what happens if one of them leaves. The cofounder quiz surfaces the gap: they disagree sharply on fundraising appetite and on who decides when they deadlock. Instead of discovering that a year in, they spend one evening on the flagged questions.

They settle on roles, vesting and a tie-breaker, put it in writing with the founders agreement template, and have a volunteer lawyer from the Starter Boost sanity-check it. The company survives its first real fight because the fight happened on paper first.

Your story belongs here

If the hub helped you incorporate, win a grant, find a cofounder, land a pilot or just avoid an expensive mistake, we want to tell it properly. Here is how it works:

  1. Write to us with what happened, in your own words. Rough is fine; we will shape it together.
  2. We draft the story, you approve every word, and nothing publishes without your written consent.
  3. You choose what identifies you: full name, first name, or venture name only.
