By Women For Good
Jammu and Kashmir replaced its old framework with the Startup Policy 2024-27, targeting two thousand startups with seed funding through JKEDI, patent assistance, mentorship support and DPIIT facilitation. District offices of JKEDI now operate as District Startup Cells, the first point of contact in every district, and the Startup JK portal centralises registration and incentives. Agritech, handicrafts, tourism and cold-chain problems remain largely unclaimed by serious companies.
